Robert M. Cavalier is the founding Partner of LUCAS and CAVALIER, LLC, a boutique civil litigation defense firm with offices in Philadelphia and Conshohocken, PA and Haddon Heights, NJ. He is an experienced trial attorney.

Mr. Cavalier has been designated as an Experienced Member of The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, Disciplinary Board. He is a Member of the Council on Litigation Management and The Defense Research Institute, as well as obtaining Proctor Status with the Maritime Law Association. He currently serves as the Vice President of Philadelphia Youth Organization at the Marian Anderson Recreation Center.

Elected to the Union League in 1998, Mr. Cavalier became a Life Member in 2017. He has served on The Board of Directors with two years in a Vice President capacity. He served as Chair of the 160th Anniversary Committee and received the President’s Award bestowed by President Harry E. Hill. He has served on the Entertainment Committee, Lincoln Day and Admissions. Mr. Cavalier is a current member of the Board of Trustees of The Union League Legacy Foundation. He is a member of the Sproat and Cricket Groundhog Tables. He is an Executive Member of the Heritage Cigar Club, as well as a Golf Amenity Member at The Union League Golf Club at Torresdale, Union League National Golf Club and Union League Liberty Hill.

Mr. Cavalier is a graduate of the College of New Jersey with a BS in Business, as well as receiving a JD from Rutgers University School of Law at Camden. He resides in the Society Hill section of Philadelphia and Barnegat Light on Long Beach Island. He and his wife Darlene have four children, two still of college age.
