The Armed Services Council is thrilled to host guest speaker Dr John Nagl. Dr John Nagl is leading an Independent Research Project on the leadership lessons learned from the Russian Ukraine war for the US Army War College where he serves as a visiting professor. Dr Nagl is a retired Army Officer, prolific author and strategist. He served in US Army armor units in combat during Desert Storm and lraqi Freedom. Dr Nagl has taught at West Point and Georgetown University. He served as Military Assistant to two Deputies of Secretaries of Defense. He received a PhD from Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar. He served as Headmaster for the Haverford School for eight years. He serves as an advisor for the Foreign Policy Research Institute and the Center for New American Security.
